Welcome to Exbury Gardens and Steam Railway, in the New Forest National Park...

The Gardens are open daily from 7th March 2010 10am - 5.00 pm. Visitors can enjoy exploring twenty miles of pathways, or "let the train take the strain" on a 20 min journey, or take a buggy tour to see the best of the colour.

Mr Eddy's Tearooms are open from 9.30am, whilst the Gift Shop and Plant Centre will open between 10am and 5pm on all Garden open days. Visit the Gardens as part of our Santa Special experience on seven days in December - see below for more information.

Buckler's Hard

On the banks of the Beaulieu River, in the heart of the New Forest National Park, you will find the peaceful haven of Buckler’s Hard. The Maritime Museum and Buckler’s Hard Story give an insight into the history of the village whilst a trip on the river or a walk beside the riverbank provides an opportunity to see some of its abundant wildlife. The New Forest and Hampshire County Show  is now the highlight of Hampshire’s social calendar featuring all the attractions that have made it so popular, bringing traditional country pursuits, new exhibitions and demonstrations to this unique event.

Rated amongst the top ten Agricultural and Equestrian Shows in the UK, the Show has an excellent reputation both locally and nationally.

Cowes Week July 31st - 7th August 2010 

Cowes Week is the World's premier sailing regatta, with almost 1,000 yachts and 8,000 competitors taking part in some top-class sailing. Cowes Week has a rich heritage and attracts a wide range of competitors from amateurs to Olympic and World champions. It has a huge amount to offer both sailors and visitors alike, with an exciting racing schedule and a packed entertainment itinerary on shore throughout the week.

A visit to Cowes during the regatta is a must, with its great selection of specialist shops, excellent line-up of live bands and superb choice of cuisine, all helping to create a festival atmosphere - plus one of the best sailing spectacles in the world. One of the highlights of the Regatta is the fireworks display, taking place on the final Friday of Cowes Week.
